The Housing Commission is comprised of seven members, each serving a two-year term. The Commission acts as an advisory board to the City Council. Their role is to undertake special projects for meeting the housing needs of low-income families, elderly and handicapped persons.
The Commission initiates and examines proposals for the improvement of housing conditions in the city and, when necessary, make specific recommendations to the City Council.
The Housing Commission meets on an as needed basis on the second Tuesday of the month at 5:00 pm at City Hall, 220 Clay Street, Cedar Falls Iowa 50613.
