City offices will be closed on December 24 and 25 for the holidays. Residents having December 24 as their collection day should put their garbage out by 7:00 a.m. on December 22. Residents having December 25 as their collection day should put their garbage out by 7:00 a.m. on December 23. Large item pickup will resume on December 28.
City offices will also be closed on January 1. Residents having January 1 as their collection day should put their garbage out by 7:00 a.m. on December 31.
As a reminder to residents, yard waste pickup on Mondays beginning December through the end of March 2021 will be done on a call-in basis. Call 319-273-8629 to make arrangements for pickup. Please contact the Cedar Falls Public Works Department at 319-273-8629 with questions.
