The Cedar Falls Police Department is teaming up with the Black Hawk County Solid Waste Management Commission on August 24th from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. to give the public another opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. Bring your medications for disposal to the Cedar Falls Public Works Complex located at 1500 Bluff Street (Follow the signs from the corner of Main Street and 14th Street on the day of the event). The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
