About the Bike Task Force
The Bike Task Force was created in 2007 to complement the City's recreational trail system by making Cedar Falls more bicycle user-friendly.
Mission
- Investigate how to make Cedar Falls a safer, more pedestrian/bicycle friendly city
- Encourage more safe bicycle transportation usage
- Educate public on safe transportation techniques (health, environment)
- Any developments to take into consideration pedestrian/bicycle transportation (Code changes)
- Investigate other partners/interested parties (funding, models)
- Promote/engage community in ownership of the process
- Promote quality of life
- Build on our great existing recreational trail system with a great, safe "on-road" system
