If you are seeking to help your community, you have a great opportunity in Cedar Falls! Cedar Falls Public Safety utilizes a cross-training program to help officers efficiently serve their city and gain valuable skills in multiple areas. Cedar Falls is home to a dedicated police division and fire division. Officers are certified and trained in both areas and then assigned yearly to either Cedar Falls Fire Rescue or the Cedar Falls Police Department. This not only helps you grow but allows you to experience a wider variety of available shifts, hours, and assignments to avoid burnout fatigue and stay active.
