Housing Commission

Purpose

This advisory commission supports programs and special projects for the housing needs of low-income families, older adults, and persons with disabilities. The commission provides input on policies, procedures, and projects related to the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8), Community Development Block Grant, and HOME programs.

The Housing Commission was established by Section 11-1 of the City Code. The Housing Commission meets as needed on the third Wednesday of the month at 4:00 p.m. at Library's Conference Room. All meetings are open to the public.
