Downtown Streetscape and Reconstruction Project- The contractor has begun the installation of new brick pavers out to the curb on the 300 Block sidewalk (3rd to 4th St. east side). This week, the contractor will begin removals along West 4th Street from Washington to Main. This block will remain closed for 12 to 14 weeks. However, business access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure with temporary sidewalk access still available to all businesses along this block.

West 1st Street/HWY 57 Expansion- For the week of May 3rd, the contractors will prepare for paving operations in the southwest corner of W. 1st Street and Hudson Road. Currently, contractors will start work on underground utilities located on the south side of W.1st Street East of Hudson Road. Head-to-Head traffic pattern will remain on the northern lanes as crews rebuild the southern half of the intersection.

McClain Drive- Stage 1 of McClain Drive is currently installing the stormwater structures. Once completed, the contractor will begin preparing the roadway for pavement.
Brandilynn Boulevard (West cul-de-sac east through the Andrea Drive intersection)- Stage 1 of Brandilynn Boulevard has begun with pavement removal. Next week, the contractor will prepare the surface for the new pavement.
