Downtown Streetscape and Reconstruction Project- The contractor will begin the mainline paving of W 4th Street Tuesday (June 29), followed with hand pours and sidewalk work over the following few weeks. Work along the west side of the 400 block portion of the parkade will continue this week with the installation of the subdrain and electrical conduit. Next week will be utilized to place concrete amenity pads.

West 1st Street/HWY 57 Expansion- For the week of June 28, paving for adjacent streets, business driveways, and sidewalks will continue on the south side of W. 1st Street/HWY 57 and east of Hudson Road. Head-to-Head traffic pattern on W. 1st Street/HWY 57 will remain on the northern lanes. The current construction will continue to result in restricted turning movements at the Hudson Road intersection. Trailered vehicles should choose alternative routes to avoid turning at the intersection.

McClain Drive- Stage 1 of McClain Drive will continue with intersections, sidewalks, and driveway approaches that remain.
Brandilynn Boulevard (West cul-de-sac east through the Andrea Drive intersection)- Stage 1 of Brandilynn Boulevard is finishing the remaining driveway approaches to complete stage 1 this week.
Olive Street- Olive Street will complete the sidewalk and driveways over this week.
Washington Street- Washington Street has completed the installation of the new watermain. Work on the storm sewer will continue into the following two weeks.
Restoration work for the new asphalt overlays has been completed on Garden, Iowa, Lilac, Calumett, and 17th Street. Remaining items such as grading and sodding on the new sidewalk approaches and curb repairs will continue into the following week.
