An online survey has been developed to gather the public's opinion on current transportation issues in the Black Hawk County Metropolitan Area. Anyone who lives, works, or regularly travels in the metropolitan area is invited to take the survey.
This survey is being conducted because the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is in the process of updating its 2040 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP). This document will guide planning and programming decisions for federal aid transportation projects over the next 20-30 years. The MPO consists of elected officials and staff from the local jurisdictions, and will be reviewing the results of the survey. This is a great opportunity for the public to give their opinion on transportation issues to local decision makers.
The online survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and will be available until April 30. The survey is available through INRCOG's webpage at www.inrcog.org, or you can access the survey at www.surveymonkey.com/s/MPO-LRTP-Survey. Paper copies of the survey are also available. If you have any questions or comments on the survey or the MPO LRTP, or if you would like a paper copy of the survey, contact Andrea White at INRCOG by calling (319) 235-0311 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for your input!
