The Cedar Falls Recycling Center now accepts nearly all types of glass. As long as the glass can be seen through it is acceptable for recycling. This includes:
- Colored glass
- Plate glass
- Safety glass
- Glass cookware
Glass items that are not acceptable include:
- Automobile windshields
- Mirrors
- Porcelain
- Ceramics
- Light bulbs
As always, please be sure the glass is free of contaminates such as lids, caps, wood or metal framing, etc.
