The City of Cedar Falls has awarded the Dry Run Creek Sanitary Sewer Improvements Project—Phase I to S.M. Hentges of Jordan, MN. The contractor will be replacing approximately 3,000 lineal feet of sanitary sewer ranging from 36-inches to 54-inches in diameter.
Beginning as early as Monday, March 13, 2017, the contractor will begin the installation of sanitary sewer across Seerley Blvd between Grove Street and HWY 58 (see below). In order for the contractor to begin work and pavement removal, a complete closure will be required. The closure will be in effect for five to six days, depending on the weather.
For safety's sake, please stay away from the construction area, as heavy equipment will be operating on the closed street.
If you would like to receive road closure notices by e-mail, the City of Cedar Falls has a "Notify Me" feature on the City web page at
