[ARCHIVED] Permeable Alley Project Street Closing

Beginning Monday, October 30, the contractor will begin the 2017 Permeable Alley Project by closing West 21st Street from Tremont Street to Franklin Street and the alley in the block bounded by West 21st Street, West 22nd Street, Tremont Street, and Franklin Street. West 22nd Street, Franklin Street, and Tremont Street will remain open. In order for the contractor to begin pavement removal, a full road and alley closure will be required. Alley access will be completely closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic throughout construction. The road closure on West 21st Street will be in effect for one week, depending on the weather. The alley closure will be in effect for four to five weeks, depending on weather.

For safety's sake, please stay away from the construction area. Heavy equipment will be moving back and forth on the closed alley. It would be advisable to stay behind the construction area on your property side during the reconstruction work

Garbage pickup will not be affected at this location.
