Disposing of Pumpkins
What to do with pumpkins?
Please dispose of your pumpkins and organic fall decorations properly: get rid of pumpkins by putting them in your yard waste cart or bring to the Cedar Falls compost facility. Remove non-organic decorations like candles before placing them in your yard waste cart. Remember, containers cannot weigh over 250 pounds.
Other uses for leftover pumpkins
Compost them! Pumpkins are 90% water and decompose easily.
